A Web Page Or A Landing Page ?

My page was a website full of content, with files of my newsletters, and how to satisfy the visitor who likes to click and read. But why change? And you should do the same? It all depends, but see the following Using a Web page A web page is great for sharing information with your visitors. We have articles, free reports, testimonials section, contact forms, etc.. All you need to position yourself in front of your customers and make more sales. Some examples: A beauty salon may use your page to include photos of before and after their customers.

An accountant may include educational articles that positioned as an expert. A consultant can use your site with the same purpose. Every business can use the site for similar purposes. The question is What is your goal? Mine already know. The visitor to give me your email to add it to my list (Newsletter) in order to start a professional relationship. Although my previous website did the same, only 12% of visitors became subscribers. Not bad.

100 visitors, 12 become subscribers. But I want more because I know that if the percentage increase, increase my sales, right? And that’s when I began to test the use of a landing page. So what did I find? Before a landing page, I’ll explain briefly. A landing page is one page where there are no links to other areas of your website. The only goal you want to achieve with that landing page is the person takes a specific action. See the different uses: A. Free Report Offers a free report, pre-qualifies the person (just want potential customers), gives you her email and start sending a newsletter (or gives you your address and we will send a printed newsletter.) B. Offers a free report, the person gives you their phone and make a call monitoring. C. Offers a free report, the person gives you your address and give up with a series of letters written. D. Offers a free report, the person gives you their email, you stand by the report and send it to your sales letter. Simple! Want a specific action and a landing page helps you with that goal. There are many uses for landing pages, but these I have mentioned are the most common uses. What results have had with the use of a landing page? Since I made the change, the percentage rose from 12% to 26.4%. AMAs readers, more sales! That is using my home page. It can be modified to increase, but my page is distributed in many sites that either the visit (not attract 100% of people pre-qualified). Using the same strategy now, I’m having a 57.2% conversion with a special domain that my wizard inserts in my articles (the visitor is more pre-qualified). Paid advertising through Facebook, I’m having a 22.1% conversion. Should you use a landing page? Everything depends on the goal you have, but if you have a specific objective as I mentioned, perhaps you should try using a landing page to see if it works better.
